ZLY Hard-Toothed Surface Gearbox Speed Reducer - Reliable China Suppliers & Factory for Chemical, Textile, and Pharma Industries
Product Features
- ⚙️ The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, with a tooth surface hardness of HRC58–62. All gears are processed by gear grinding, ensuring high precision.
- ⚡ High transmission efficiency: Over 93% for two-stage transmission.
- 🔇 Smooth operation and low noise.
- 📦 Small in size, light in weight, long in service life and high in load-bearing capacity.
- 🔧 Easy to disassemble and inspect, and easy to install.
Conditions of Use
- 🔁 The rotational speed of the high-speed shaft shall not exceed 1,500 revolutions per minute.
- 💨 The circumferential speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20 meters per second.
- 🌡️ The working environment temperature is −40 to 45°C. If it is below 0°C, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0°C before starting. This reducer can be used for operation in both forward and reverse directions.
Maintenance
🛢️ 1. Regularly Check the Oil Level
Check the oil level once a month or every 500 hours of operation to ensure it is within the specified range.
🔄 2. Regularly Change the Lubricating Oil
- (1) First oil change: Should be carried out 36 hours after the first operation to remove the metal shavings produced during the running-in period.
- (2) Subsequent oil change: Replace the lubricating oil every 2,000–5,000 hours of operation or every 6–12 months, depending on working environment and load conditions. In harsh environments (high temperatures, much dust, continuous heavy loads), shorten the oil change cycle.
- (3) Oil change method: When the reducer is still warm (lubricating oil has good fluidity), drain the old oil and add new oil to the specified oil level.
🧹 3. Keep Clean & Ensure Vent Cap is Unobstructed
Regularly clean the oil stains and dust on the surface of the reducer, and inspect and clean the vent cap to prevent blockage.
🔩 4. Fastening Inspection
Regularly check whether all installation bolts and connecting parts are loose.
⚠️
5. Abnormal Situation Handling: Once a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage is detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection. Operation can only resume after the fault has been eliminated.

Frequently Asked Questions
❓ What is the maximum rotational speed allowed for the ZLY reducer's high-speed shaft?
The rotational speed of the high-speed shaft must not exceed 1,500 revolutions per minute (RPM). Exceeding this limit may cause damage to internal components and reduce the service life of the reducer.
❓ What type of material are the gears made from?
The gears are manufactured from high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through a carburizing and quenching process, achieving a tooth surface hardness of HRC58–62. All gears are precision-ground to ensure high accuracy and consistent performance.
❓ How often should the lubricating oil be changed?
The first oil change should occur 36 hours after initial operation to flush out metal particles from the running-in period. Subsequent oil changes should be performed every 2,000–5,000 hours of operation or every 6–12 months. In harsh operating conditions, the interval should be shortened accordingly.
❓ Can the ZLY reducer operate in extremely cold environments?
Yes, the reducer can operate in temperatures as low as −40°C. However, if the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0°C before starting the equipment to ensure proper lubrication and prevent damage.
❓ What should I do if I notice unusual noise or vibration during operation?
If you detect a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage, stop the machine immediately. Do not resume operation until a thorough inspection has been performed and the underlying fault has been fully resolved.
❓ Does the ZLY reducer support both forward and reverse operation?
Yes, the ZLY reducer is designed to support both forward and reverse directions of operation, making it versatile for a wide range of industrial applications.
