ZLY Hard-Toothed Surface Gearbox Speed Reducer - Quality from China Suppliers & Factory for Chemical, Textile, and Pharmaceutical Industries
Product Features
1
The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, with a tooth surface hardness of HRC58–62. All gears are processed by gear grinding, ensuring high precision.
2
High transmission efficiency: Over 93% for two-stage transmission.
3
Smooth operation and low noise.
4
Small in size, light in weight, long service life and high load-bearing capacity.
5
Easy to disassemble, inspect, and install.
Conditions of Use
1
The rotational speed of the high-speed shaft shall not exceed 1,500 RPM.
2
The circumferential speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20 m/s.
3
Working environment temperature: −40°C to 45°C.
If operating below 0°C, preheat the lubricating oil to above 0°C before starting. This reducer supports both forward and reverse operation.
Maintenance
1
Regularly Check Oil Level
Check the oil level once a month or every 500 hours of operation to ensure it is within the specified range.
2
Regularly Change the Lubricating Oil
- First oil change: Carry out 36 hours after the first operation to remove metal shavings produced during the running-in period.
- Subsequent oil changes: Every 2,000–5,000 hours or every 6–12 months, depending on working conditions. Shorten the cycle in harsh environments (high temperatures, heavy dust, continuous heavy loads).
- Oil change method: While the reducer is still warm (for better oil fluidity), drain the old oil and refill to the specified oil level.
3
Keep Clean & Vent Cap Clear
Regularly clean oil stains and dust from the reducer surface. Inspect and clean the vent cap to prevent blockage.
4
Fastening Inspection
Regularly check whether all installation bolts and connecting parts are loose.
5
Abnormal Situation Handling: If a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage is detected — stop the machine immediately for inspection. Resume operation only after the fault has been eliminated.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q
What is the maximum rotational speed for the ZLY reducer's high-speed shaft?
The high-speed shaft of the ZLY reducer must not exceed 1,500 revolutions per minute (RPM). Exceeding this limit may cause excessive heat, accelerated wear, or mechanical failure.
Q
What is the transmission efficiency of the ZLY reducer?
The ZLY reducer achieves a transmission efficiency of over 93% for two-stage transmission, thanks to precision gear grinding and high-quality alloy steel construction.
Q
How often should the lubricating oil be changed?
The first oil change should be performed after 36 hours of initial operation. Subsequently, oil should be replaced every 2,000–5,000 hours or every 6–12 months. In harsh environments (high temperatures, heavy dust, or continuous heavy loads), the oil change interval should be shortened accordingly.
Q
Can the ZLY reducer operate in low-temperature environments?
Yes. The ZLY reducer can operate in temperatures as low as −40°C. However, if the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0°C before starting the machine to ensure proper lubrication and prevent damage.
Q
What should I do if the reducer shows abnormal noise or vibration during operation?
If you detect a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage, stop the machine immediately. Do not resume operation until the cause has been identified and the fault fully resolved.
Q
What is the tooth surface hardness of the ZLY reducer gears?
The gears are manufactured from high-strength low-carbon alloy steel and processed through carburizing and quenching, achieving a tooth surface hardness of HRC 58–62. All gears undergo precision gear grinding to ensure high accuracy and long service life.
