ZLY Hard-Toothed Gearbox Speed Reducer | China Suppliers & Factory for Chemical, Textile, and Pharmaceutical Industries
Product Features
1
The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, with a tooth surface hardness of HRC58–62. All gears are processed by gear grinding, ensuring high precision.
2
High transmission efficiency: Over 93% for two-stage transmission.
3
Smooth operation and low noise.
4
Small in size, light in weight, long service life and high load-bearing capacity.
5
Easy to disassemble, inspect, and install.
Conditions of Use
1
The rotational speed of the high-speed shaft shall not exceed 1,500 revolutions per minute.
2
The circumferential speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20 meters per second.
3
Working environment temperature: -40°C to 45°C. If below 0°C, preheat the lubricating oil to above 0°C before starting. This reducer supports both forward and reverse operation.
Maintenance
1
Regularly check the oil level: Check once a month or every 500 hours of operation to ensure it is within the specified range.
2. Regularly change the lubricating oil
(1) First oil change: Carry out 36 hours after the first operation to remove metal shavings produced during the running-in period.
(2) Subsequent oil changes: Replace every 2,000–5,000 hours of operation or every 6–12 months, depending on working conditions. In harsh environments (high temperatures, heavy dust, continuous heavy loads), shorten the oil change cycle.
(3) Oil change method: While the reducer is still warm (oil has good fluidity), drain the old oil and refill with new oil to the specified level.
3
Keep clean & vent cap unobstructed: Regularly clean oil stains and dust from the reducer surface; inspect and clean the vent cap to prevent blockage.
4
Fastening inspection: Regularly check whether all installation bolts and connecting parts are loose.

Abnormal Situation Handling
Once a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage is detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection. Operation can only resume after the fault has been eliminated.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q
What material are the gears made of, and what is their surface hardness?
The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel processed through carburizing and quenching. The tooth surface hardness reaches HRC58–62, and all gears are finished by gear grinding to ensure high precision.
Q
What is the transmission efficiency of the ZLY reducer?
The ZLY reducer achieves a transmission efficiency of over 93% for two-stage transmission, making it a highly energy-efficient choice for industrial applications.
Q
What are the maximum operating speed and temperature limits?
The high-speed shaft rotational speed must not exceed 1,500 RPM, and the circumferential gear speed must not exceed 20 m/s. The working environment temperature range is -40°C to 45°C. Below 0°C, preheat the lubricating oil before starting.
Q
When should the lubricating oil be changed for the first time?
The first oil change should be performed 36 hours after initial operation to flush out metal shavings generated during the running-in period. Subsequent oil changes are recommended every 2,000–5,000 hours or every 6–12 months, depending on operating conditions.
Q
Can the ZLY reducer operate in both forward and reverse directions?
Yes, the ZLY reducer is designed to support both forward and reverse operation, providing flexibility for a wide range of industrial applications.
Q
What should I do if abnormal noise or vibration occurs during operation?
If you detect a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage, stop the machine immediately. Do not resume operation until a thorough inspection has been completed and the fault has been fully eliminated.
