Daily Maintenance Guide for Motorized Pulleys: Extend Service Life
Motorized pulleys are core drive components of belt conveyors, widely used in industrial conveying scenarios such as mining and cement. Scientific and standardized daily maintenance is the core measure to extend equipment service life, reduce operation and maintenance costs, and ensure the stable operation of production lines.
For newly commissioned motorized pulleys, lubricating oil must be replaced after the first 300 hours of operation to remove impurities generated during the running-in period, protect internal gears and bearings, and lay a foundation for long-term stable operation. In daily use, check the oil level and sealing condition regularly every 2000 hours to ensure sufficient lubrication and eliminate oil leakage risks; at the same time, strictly avoid long-term overload operation to prevent abnormal wear of core components and shorten the service life of the equipment. In harsh working environments such as dusty conditions, timely clean the dust and debris on the surface of motorized pulleys to prevent impurities from invading the internal structure and causing irreversible damage.
Standardized daily maintenance procedures can effectively improve the reliability of motorized pulleys, ensure the continuous and efficient operation of belt conveyor systems, and greatly reduce equipment failure downtime. For enterprises in mining, cement and other industries, doing a good job in daily maintenance of motorized pulleys can not only extend the service life of equipment, but also save maintenance costs and create continuous and stable economic benefits for production.
