Hydraulic Coupling - YOX Load Limiting Type from China Suppliers & Factory for Efficient Power Transmission

,

The hydraulic coupling, commonly referred to as hydraulic coupling, is an essential component in hydraulic transmission systems, widely recognized for its versatility and efficiency. This vital product facilitates the seamless transfer of motion power between power machinery and working machinery. A typical structure of a limited moment hydraulic coupling features symmetrically arranged impellers, encompassing a shell, turbine, rear auxiliary chamber, main shaft, and various other components. The casing and pump impeller are securely connected with bolts to prevent fluid overflow, ensuring reliable operation. The active assembly comprises the active half coupling, elastic block, driven half coupling, pump wheel, and shell, while the driven assembly consists of the main shaft and turbine. The active part connects to the power machine, while the passive part connects to the working machine.

,

Both the pump impeller and turbine are designed with radial blades, optimizing their performance. The annular space created by the concave shapes of the pump wheel and turbine wheel forms the working cavity, allowing the working fluid to circulate. This design efficiently transmits power for various applications. Our hydraulic couplings are manufactured in China, making us a reliable choice among suppliers in the industry. As a trusted factory, we ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards to support your hydraulic transmission needs.

    Product Maintenance
    • 1 The hydraulic coupling operates in the same manner as the motor. It can rotate in either direction, but it is not suitable for rapid and frequent reversing.
    • 2 After installation, during the first power-on test run, it is necessary to check whether the coupling operates smoothly, without vibration, and without abnormal noise.
    • 3 To ensure safe production, a mesh-shaped heat dissipation protective cover should be installed on the coupling.
    • 4 When the prime mover reaches the rated speed, it must start to operate; otherwise, it is necessary to check if there is any jamming in the load. At this time, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection to identify the cause.
    • 5 During operation or shutdown, there must be no leakage from the coupling.
    • 6 During continuous operation, the working oil temperature of the coupling should not exceed 90°C; 70°C is preferable.
⚠️ Temperature Limit: Keep working oil temperature at or below 90°C. Optimal operating temperature is 70°C.
    • 7 After the first 300 hours of operation of the coupling, the working oil should be drained and replaced with new oil (if the crude oil is not deteriorated and filtered, it can be reused). After 3000 hours of operation, the quality of the working oil should be inspected. If the oil quality deteriorates, new oil should be used.
    • 8 Regularly check the wear condition of the elastic blocks. If necessary, replace them. If the elastic block is damaged within a short period of time, it is mostly caused by incorrect installation and alignment. Realign it, and if necessary, use a dial indicator to measure and align.
    • 9 The fusible plug must not be blocked and cannot be replaced with other items that do not have overheating protection function. When the fusible plug melts, the cause of the oil spraying must be found and the fault eliminated. Reinject the working oil at the specified filling volume, replace the fusible plug with the same specification, or pour in low-melting-point alloy. At the same time, recheck and tighten all the bolts on the coupling circumference.
⚠️ Important: Never substitute the fusible plug with non-overheating-protection items. Always identify and eliminate the root cause before restarting.
    • 10 Regularly check the installation accuracy of the prime mover shaft and the input shaft of the working machine, and correct it. Do not randomly disassemble the coupling to avoid damaging the seal and balance. Even if disassembled, mark the joints of each component.

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q What is the maximum allowable working oil temperature for the YOX hydraulic coupling during continuous operation?
During continuous operation, the working oil temperature must not exceed 90°C. An optimal operating temperature of 70°C is recommended to ensure long-term reliability and performance of the coupling.
Q When should the working oil be replaced in a YOX load-limiting hydraulic coupling?
The working oil should be drained and replaced after the first 300 hours of operation. After that, oil quality should be inspected every 3,000 hours. If the oil has deteriorated, it must be replaced with fresh oil to maintain proper performance.
Q Can the fusible plug in the hydraulic coupling be replaced with a standard bolt or other plug?
No. The fusible plug must never be replaced with items that do not provide overheating protection. Only a fusible plug of the same specification or one filled with low-melting-point alloy should be used. Substituting it with non-protective items can lead to serious safety hazards.
Q What should be done if the elastic block in the coupling is damaged shortly after installation?
Early damage to the elastic block is most commonly caused by incorrect installation or misalignment. The coupling should be realigned carefully, and a dial indicator should be used for precise measurement and correction if necessary.
Q Is the YOX hydraulic coupling suitable for frequent reversing operations?
While the hydraulic coupling can rotate in either direction like a motor, it is not suitable for rapid and frequent reversing. Such operation can cause excessive wear and reduce the service life of the coupling.
Q What key checks should be performed after the first installation and power-on test run?
After the first power-on test run, verify that the coupling operates smoothly without vibration or abnormal noise. Also confirm there is no oil leakage, that a protective mesh cover is properly installed, and that the prime mover successfully reaches its rated speed without any load jamming.
