High Efficiency ZGY Shaft-Mounted Cylindrical Gear Reducer from China Factory - Leading Suppliers for Various Industries
Product Features
- 1 The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel and are processed through carburizing, quenching and grinding.
- 2 The gears have high precision and high hardness. They feature a small size, light weight, large bearing capacity, high efficiency, simple structure, and convenient installation and maintenance.
- 3 An anti-reverse rotation device can be configured. The input shaft of the reducer is connected to the motor through a pulley, and the output uses a hollow shaft with a single key connection, which can be directly hung on the main shaft of the machine.
Conditions of Use
- 1 The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1400 r/min.
- 2 The peripheral speed of the gear shall not exceed 10 m/s.
- 3 Working environment: -40 to 45℃. If the temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0℃ before starting. This reducer can be used for operation in both forward and reverse directions.
⚠️
Note: Always preheat lubricating oil before starting in sub-zero temperatures to prevent damage to the reducer.
Installation and Use of Reducer
- 1 The high-speed shaft should not be directly hammered when cooperating with other parts.
- 2 After installing the reducer, rotate it by hand. Must be flexible and unobstructed.
- 3 Run without load for 2 hours. If any abnormal noise, overheating, or oil leakage is found, please stop running immediately.
- 4 When installing the torque arm, try to make the torque arm perpendicular to the fixed point and the output shaft line. The deviation should be ±10 degrees, and the torque arm should be in a tensile stress state.
Lubrication of the Reducer
- 1 The recommended lubricant is L-CKC150 medium-load extreme pressure gear oil. When using a reverse gear device, no lubricating additives such as graphite or molybdenum disulfide should be used in the reducer.
- 2 After the first oil change, after 200 hours of operation, new oil should be replaced. For subsequent continuous operation, the oil should be changed every six months or every 2500 hours of operation.
🔧
Recommended Lubricant: L-CKC150 Medium-Load Extreme Pressure Gear Oil — Do NOT add graphite or molybdenum disulfide additives when using reverse gear.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q
What material are the gears made of, and how are they processed?
The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel. They undergo carburizing, quenching, and grinding processes to achieve high precision and high hardness, ensuring durability and reliable performance.
Q
What is the maximum allowable input shaft speed for this reducer?
The maximum speed of the input shaft shall not exceed 1400 r/min. Additionally, the peripheral speed of the gear must not exceed 10 m/s to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Q
Can this reducer be used in cold weather environments?
Yes, the reducer is designed for working environments ranging from -40℃ to 45℃. However, if the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0℃ before starting the machine to avoid damage.
Q
What lubricant is recommended for this reducer, and how often should the oil be changed?
The recommended lubricant is L-CKC150 medium-load extreme pressure gear oil. After the initial 200 hours of operation, the first oil change should be performed. Subsequently, oil should be changed every six months or every 2500 hours of continuous operation.
Q
What precautions should be taken when installing the reducer?
Do not directly hammer the high-speed shaft during assembly. After installation, manually rotate the reducer to confirm it moves freely and without obstruction. Run the unit without load for 2 hours and immediately stop if abnormal noise, overheating, or oil leakage is detected.
Q
How should the torque arm be installed correctly?
The torque arm should be installed as perpendicular as possible to the line between the fixed point and the output shaft. The allowable angular deviation is ±10 degrees. Ensure the torque arm remains in a tensile stress state during operation for optimal performance and longevity.
