DCY Hard-Toothed Surface Gearbox Speed Reducer - Quality China Suppliers & Reliable Factory Solutions
Product Features
-
1The main parameters such as center distance and nominal transmission ratio have all been optimized in design, and the main components and parts have good interchangeability.
-
2All gears are made of high-quality alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, with a tooth surface hardness of HRC54–62.
-
3Small in size, light in weight, high in precision, large in load capacity, high in efficiency, long in service life, high in reliability, smooth in transmission and low in noise.
-
4Generally, oil pool lubrication and natural cooling are adopted. When the heat power cannot meet the requirements, circulating oil lubrication or fan and cooling coil cooling can be used.
Conditions of Use
-
1The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min.
-
2The peripheral speed of the gear shall not exceed 20 m/s.
-
3Working environment: -40 to 50℃. If the temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0℃ before starting. This reducer can be used for operation in both forward and reverse directions.
-
4It can be widely applied in industrial sectors such as metallurgy, mining, chemical engineering, building materials, lifting, transportation, textile, papermaking, instruments, plastics, rubber, construction machinery, and energy.
Maintenance
1
Regularly Check the Oil Level
Check the oil level once a month or every 500 hours of operation to ensure it is within the specified range.
2
Regularly Change the Lubricating Oil
- (1) First Oil Change: The first oil change should be carried out 36 hours after the first operation to remove the metal shavings produced during the running-in period.
- (2) Subsequent Oil Change: Depending on the working environment and load conditions, replace the lubricating oil every 2,000–5,000 hours or every 6–12 months. In harsh environments (high temperatures, much dust, continuous heavy loads), shorten the oil change cycle.
- (3) Oil Change Method: While the reducer is still warm (lubricating oil has good fluidity), drain the old oil and add new oil to the specified oil level.
3
Keep Clean & Ensure the Vent Cap Is Unobstructed
Regularly clean the oil stains and dust on the surface of the reducer, and inspect and clean the vent cap to prevent blockage.
4
Fastening Inspection
Regularly check whether all installation bolts and connecting parts are loose.
⚠
Abnormal Situation Handling
Once a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise or severe oil leakage is detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection. Operation can only resume after the fault has been eliminated.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q What is the maximum input shaft speed for this reducer?
The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min. Exceeding this limit may result in overheating, excessive wear, or mechanical failure.
Q What tooth surface hardness do the gears achieve?
All gears are manufactured from high-quality alloy steel and processed through carburizing and quenching, achieving a tooth surface hardness of HRC54–62, which ensures excellent durability and load capacity.
Q Can this reducer operate in cold environments?
Yes. The reducer is designed for working environments ranging from -40℃ to 50℃. However, if the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0℃ before starting the machine to ensure proper lubrication and safe operation.
Q How often should the lubricating oil be changed?
The first oil change should be performed 36 hours after initial operation. Subsequently, replace the oil every 2,000–5,000 hours of operation or every 6–12 months, whichever comes first. In harsh environments (high temperatures, heavy dust, or continuous heavy loads), the interval should be shortened accordingly.
Q What industries is this reducer suitable for?
This reducer can be widely applied across many industries, including metallurgy, mining, chemical engineering, building materials, lifting, transportation, textile, papermaking, instruments, plastics, rubber, construction machinery, and energy.
Q What should I do if the reducer shows abnormal noise or vibration during operation?
If you detect a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage, stop the machine immediately and conduct a thorough inspection. Do not resume operation until the root cause has been identified and the fault fully resolved to prevent further damage or safety hazards.
