China ZD Cylindrical Gear Speed Reducer - Quality Products from Leading Suppliers & Factory
Product Application Scope
The scope of application for gear reducers is as follows:
1. The high-speed axle rotation shall not exceed 1500 revolutions per minute.
2. The circumferential speed of gear transmission shall not exceed 20 meters per second.
3. The working environment temperature is -40-45 ℃. If it is below 0 ℃, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0 ℃ before starting. The gear reducer can be used for both forward and reverse operation.
Conditions of Use
1. The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, with a tooth surface hardness of HRC58-62. The gears are all machined using CNC grinding technology, with high precision and good contact.
2. High transmission rate: single-stage greater than 96.5%, two-stage greater than 93%, three-stage greater than 90%.
3. Smooth operation and low noise.
4. Small size, light weight, long service life, and high load-bearing capacity.
5. Easy to disassemble and inspect, easy to install.
Maintenance
1. Regularly check the oil level: It is recommended to check the oil level once a month or every 500 hours of operation to ensure it remains within the specified range.
2. Regularly change the lubricating oil
(1) First oil change: The initial oil change should be performed 36 hours after the first operation to remove metal particles generated during the running-in period.
(2) Subsequent oil changes: After that, depending on the working environment and load conditions, replace the lubricating oil every 2,000 to 5,000 hours of operation or every 6 to 12 months. Under harsh conditions (such as high temperatures, excessive dust, or continuous heavy loads), the oil change interval should be shortened.
(3) Oil change method: When the reducer is still warm (while the lubricating oil maintains good fluidity), drain the old oil and refill with new oil to the specified level.
3. Keep clean and ensure the vent cap is unobstructed: Regularly clean oil stains and dust from the reducer’s surface, and inspect and clean the vent cap to prevent clogging.
4. Fastening inspection: Regularly check whether all mounting bolts and connections are loose.
5. Handling abnormal situations: If a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage is detected, stop the machine immediately for inspection. Operation may resume only after the issue has been resolved.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What is the maximum high-speed axle rotation for the gear reducer?
The high-speed axle rotation shall not exceed 1500 revolutions per minute.
What is the required working environment temperature?
The working environment temperature should be between -40℃ and 45℃. If it is below 0℃, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0℃ before starting the operation.
How often should the lubricating oil be checked and changed?
It is recommended to check the oil level once a month or every 500 hours. The first oil change should be performed 36 hours after the initial operation. Subsequent changes should be done every 2,000 to 5,000 hours or every 6 to 12 months, depending on the working conditions.
What are the transmission rates of the gear reducer?
The single-stage transmission rate is greater than 96.5%, the two-stage is greater than 93%, and the three-stage is greater than 90%.
What materials are used for manufacturing the gears?
The gears are made of high-strength low-carbon alloy steel through carburizing and quenching, achieving a tooth surface hardness of HRC58-62. They are machined using CNC grinding technology for high precision.
What should I do if the gear reducer makes abnormal noise or vibrates?
If you detect a sudden increase in noise, intensified vibration, abnormal temperature rise, or severe oil leakage, you should stop the machine immediately for inspection. Operation may resume only after the issue has been completely resolved.
