China NGW Planet Gear Speed Reducer - High-Quality Factory Solutions from Leading Suppliers
Product Features
- 1 Compact structure, high power transmission capacity, and strong load-bearing capacity.
- 2 High transmission efficiency — single-stage transmission can reach 0.97–0.98, two-stage transmission can reach 0.94–0.96, and three-stage transmission can reach 0.91–0.94.
- 3 Large transmission ratio.
- 4 Various assembly types, allowing multi-directional installation, and wide applicability.
- 5 The material, gear accuracy, and load-bearing capacity are all at an advanced level among similar products.
Conditions of Use
- 1 The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min.
- 2 The peripheral speed of the gear shall not exceed 10 m/s.
- 3 Working environment: -40°C to 45°C. If the temperature is below 0°C, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0°C before starting. This reducer can be used for operation in both forward and reverse directions.
Classification of Planetary Reducers

Installation Precautions for the Reducer
- 1 The reducer should be installed horizontally and must not be tilted longitudinally or laterally.
- 2 The connection installation between the input and output should be carried out using hot mounting and cold shrinking. It is strictly prohibited to use any assembly methods involving forced striking or impact.
- 3 After the reducer is installed, it must rotate freely when turned by hand. The installation error must not exceed the allowable value of the selected coupling.
- 4 All fixed bolts should be tightened evenly without any looseness. When the impact load is high and the machine starts frequently, positioning screws should be installed between the base and the frame.
- 5 Before starting the reducer, it is necessary to add lubricating oil and ensure that the oil level meets the required standard. Under any circumstances, the oil level must not be lower than the minimum position.
- 6 After installation, a load test must be conducted before formal use. First operate at no-load for 2 hours. Once no-load operation is normal, begin the load test by gradually increasing the load.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q
What is the maximum input shaft speed for the NGW planetary reducer?
The maximum speed of the input shaft of the NGW planetary reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min. Exceeding this limit may result in reduced efficiency or mechanical damage.
Q
What transmission efficiency can the NGW planetary reducer achieve?
The NGW planetary reducer offers excellent transmission efficiency: single-stage reaches 0.97–0.98, two-stage reaches 0.94–0.96, and three-stage reaches 0.91–0.94.
Q
What are the available models and series of NGW planetary reducers?
The NGW series includes single-stage (NGW11–NGW121), two-stage (NGW42–NGW122), and three-stage (NGW73–NGW123) models. The NGW-S series covers two-stage (S42–S122) and three-stage (S73–S123). The NGW-L series includes single-stage (L11–L71) and two-stage (L42–L122) models.
Q
What are the working temperature requirements for the NGW planetary reducer?
The NGW planetary reducer is designed for working environments ranging from -40°C to 45°C. When the ambient temperature is below 0°C, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0°C before starting the unit.
Q
How should the NGW planetary reducer be properly installed?
The reducer must be installed horizontally without any longitudinal or lateral tilt. Input/output connections should use hot mounting and cold shrinking methods — forced striking or impact is strictly prohibited. All mounting bolts must be evenly tightened, and lubricating oil must be added to the correct level before startup.
Q
Is a break-in or test run required before putting the reducer into full operation?
Yes. Before formal use, the reducer must first run at no-load for 2 hours. After confirming normal no-load operation, a load test should be carried out by gradually increasing the load to full capacity.
