China Biomass Pellet Reducer Gearbox for Straw and Wood Chips - Suppliers and Factory Direct Quality
Conditions of Use
- 1 The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min.
- 2 Working environment: -40 to 45℃. If the temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil should be preheated to above 0℃ before starting. This reducer can be used for operation in both forward and reverse directions.
Installation Precautions for the Reducer
- 1 The connection installation between the input and output should be carried out using hot mounting and cold shrinking. It is strictly prohibited to use any assembly methods involving forced striking or impact.
- 2 All fixed bolts should be tightened evenly without any looseness. When the impact load is high and the machine starts frequently, positioning screws should be installed between the base and the frame.
- 3 Before starting the reducer, it is necessary to add lubricating oil and ensure that the oil level meets the required standard. Under any circumstances, the oil level must not be lower than the minimum position.
- 4 After installation, a load test must be conducted before formal use. Prior to the load test, operate at no-load for 2 hours first. Once no-load operation is normal, gradually increase the load for testing.
- 5 Under normal operating conditions: for a reducer running continuously 24 hours/day, replace oil no more than once every 3 months; for a reducer operating no more than 10 hours/day, replace oil no more than once every 6 months.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q
What is the maximum allowable input shaft speed for the reducer?
The maximum speed of the input shaft of the reducer shall not exceed 1500 r/min. Exceeding this limit may cause damage to the unit and void the warranty.
Q
Can the reducer operate in extremely cold environments?
Yes. The working environment range is -40 to 45℃. However, if the ambient temperature is below 0℃, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0℃ before starting the reducer to ensure proper lubrication.
Q
How should the reducer be connected during installation?
The connection between the input and output should use hot mounting and cold shrinking methods. It is strictly prohibited to use forced striking or impact during assembly, as this may damage the shaft or housing.
Q
Is a no-load test required before formal operation?
Yes. Before formal use, the reducer must first run at no-load for 2 hours. Only after confirming that no-load operation is normal should a load test begin, and the load should be increased gradually.
Q
How often should the lubricating oil be replaced?
For a reducer operating continuously 24 hours/day, replace the oil at least once every 3 months. For a reducer used no more than 10 hours/day, oil replacement is required at least once every 6 months.
Q
What should be checked regarding the oil level before starting?
Before starting the reducer, always verify that lubricating oil has been added and that the oil level meets the required standard. The oil level must never fall below the minimum position under any operating circumstances.
